back from italy...
what a beautiful country of western history. I miss the food, the weather, the people, the so many sites from Florence to Rome to Naples. I can't wait to go back again.
Aside from PACE flags everywhere (even on the leaning tower of Pisa) or that every other building is older than our whole country, Italy is probably one of the best places I've been. SO much history...so much culture...so many things to do.

What to do when you're there:
FLORENCE
Have Some Gelato!
go to the duomo and basilica
go see Michelangelo ontop of the hill (during the day and night) and in the museum
go to the bridge
go to the uffizi musuem for other treaures

PISA, San Gemingnaro( sp??)
the leaning tower of course.
old town towers
beautiful landscapes
old castle
the white wine

NAPLES/SERRENTO/POMPEII
frozen lemonade and bloody oranges
tour of pompeii (an interesting place)
the beauty by the sea

ROME
whoa.......so much here
Forum...walk around inside and if you have energy go up to the Palatine
Colessuem
Pantheon
Venetian Fountain
Plaza Nuova
Spanish Steps/high class shopping
Vatican City (sistine chapel, st peters)
catacombs
learn to use the subway (very useful)

Yes, so if you ever have a chance to go. GO!!!! get a good tour guide or guidebook. and if you get a driver, get Chiro! hes the best man.
