inspection and the interview...
I had a pretty long day today. Woke up to make copies of our financial statements at the gas station. Drove up to get the house inspected. They found very few problems (probably since the previous owner didnt really live there at all for the past year). Don't get me wrong, there were a few minor details to work on. and the cost??? $400. yikes!
well, we need to get rid of a wasp nest, fix the divider ceiling wall btn the dining room and liv room, fix some knobs, fix some toilet fixtures, and make sure the vent to the dining room is fixed. oh yeah, and find out what this pipe was for downstairs in the basement.
whats funny in all of this is that I found new things in the house that i didnt notice before. HAHAHAHAHA! for example, theres a kitchen bar. the 2nd bedroom is a suite (a bathroom within it and a nice walk in closet), extra closets everywhere!!!
oh yeah, one more thing...we have a turtle nesting in our gutter. cool eh? I hope we don't scare it away.
Now the interview/meeting with my new boss was rather scary. The new office is in "Oakbrook" An office full of tradition of always being the best branch in the firm (well top 3-5). It has the most chairman club members (highest honor) in the whole firm as well. They only settle for the best and you have to prove it. 1st quartile is the only place to be. 2nd is on probation and 3rd or 4th is see you later. Yikes! So, I hope I don't let myself down. God, I'm really going to need your help here. =P
